另外，针对近期准备进行雅思口语考试或想要提高英语口语能力的同学，图书馆推出免费的雅思考试口语练习，雅思口语练习将依据雅思评分标准，按时间段预约同学一对一进行一次口语模拟或着重进行Part2和Part3部分的练习和纠错。

This Traditional Culture Themed English Corner aims to encourage participants to speak English with confidence, tell China’s stories in English, and carry forward the brilliance of Chinese culture.
In addition, for students who are preparing for the IELTS speaking test in the near future or wish to improve their English speaking skills, the library offers free IELTS speaking practice. The IELTS speaking practice will be based on the IELTS scoring criteria, and students will be scheduled for a one-on-one speaking simulation or focus on the practice and correction of Parts 2 and 3 at different time slots.
目的：鼓励大家开口表达，纠正基础的语法及发音错误，协助修改语句呈现更地道的口语表达。
Why this event? To encourage everyone to express themselves openly, correct basic grammar and pronunciation errors, and assist in modifying sentences to present more authentic oral expressions.
适合人群：雅思口语练习适合有一定英语基础，需要练习口语和准备近期参加考试的同学。中华传统文化口语练习无门槛，适合想要增强口语表达能力的同学。
Who is this for? IELTS speaking practice is suitable for students who have a certain foundation in English, need to practice speaking and prepare for the upcoming exam. The oral practice of traditional Chinese culture is open to all who want to enhance their oral expression skills.

This Week's Topic: Chinese Traditional Culture — If you were to describe spring with a traditional Chinese color, what would it be?

They are poetry, painting, the solar terms, and states of mind. Huang Bai You is the spring dream from Tang Xianzu's pen; Tao Yao is the radiant bloom from the Book of Songs; Tian Piao is the distant mountain haze after a fresh rainfall. This week, we want to explore with you these breathtakingly beautiful traditional Chinese colors, share the color that best represents spring in your heart, and tell the stories and culture behind these colors in English.
